Dolcera is an IP research company which offers an array of products and services. The Dolcera Patent Dashboard is a product that comes in combination with a custom Dolcera patent database on a particular topic of interest.[1] Customers are able to manipulate and visualize this dataset via the Dolcera Patent Dashboard user interface. According to the Dolcera website, features of a customized database include:[1]
- Analysis by Dolcera subject matter experts
- A detailed multilevel taxonomy of the desired technology domain
- Categorized and cataloged literature (both patent and non patent) according to the taxonomy in the Dolcera dashboard
- Geography-centric and process-centric reports
- Company-wise patent portfolio analysis
- Monthly updates of new literature to the database
The Dolcera website also describes the features of the Dolcera Patent Dashboard:[2]
- Flexible taxonomy formation allowing user inputs (Add/Rename/Delete Operations)
- Copy/Move multiple patents from node to node by "drag and drop"
- Information Filters to choose/view desired data related to (patents / products / articles / trials)
- View History of changes (displays the changes made with respect to a patent)
- Import patent records from popular databases directly into the dashboard
- Multiple Patent Search - Use of simple Boolean expressions
- Dashboard Search - Title, Title & Abstract, Title, Abstract and Claim, etc
- Authentication - Application server secured with HTTPS
- Provided in a software as a service model (SaaS) and viewable on a web browser, which does not involve the actual product installation on the user's computer
- PDF download of documents
- Ability for user to upload their own documents to the Dashboard
- Periodic and customizable email alerts on IP trends
- Collaboration of geographically distributed users and option for administrators to view analytics of dashboard usage
- Rating and tagging features for specific documents
- Data export in Excel format
