Geobase is a subscription-based "bibliographic database for the Earth, Geographical, and Ecological Sciences" produced by Elsevier that is accessible through Ovid, Dialog, and Engineering Village.[1] Features of Geobase include:[1]

  • Fully searchable bibliographic information
  • Contains over 2.1 million records dating from 1973 onwards
  • Over 130,000 citations and abstracts added annually
  • Coverage of 2,000 international journals, including both peer-reviewed titles and trade publications
  • "Cover to cover" coverage of 80% of core journals
  • 99% of entries include English abstract
