The following is an Intellogist Help Topic IntroductionWe encourage users to get involved in the Intellogist community by creating and editing content on the site. You must be a registered user with a confirmed e-mail to make changes to any content. Editing pre-existing pages in Intellogist can be done on Community Reports pages, Glossary pages, or Best Practices pages. For more information about what qualifies as a Community Report and how to access them, see the Community Reports help topic. For more information about what qualifies as a Glossary item and how to access them, see the Glossary help topic. For more information about what qualifies as a Best Practices article and how to access them, see the Best Practices help topic. When editing or creating an articles, we ask that you keep in mind the standards and practices mentioned on these pages as well. If you want to contribute to Intellogist but cannot find a page that covers the topic you want to write about, you can create a new page. For more information on creating pages please see the Starting a new page help topic.
How to EditTo edit a page, users must be logged in to the website and on an editable page. If the page is available for edit, users may access the edit page via the edit tab at the top right of the interface, below the search bar. Intellogist uses Mediawiki software, a full featured and popular wiki software. Mediawiki is used by Wikipedia, so if you know how to edit on Wikipedia, the same standards and syntax apply here at Intellogist. If you are unfamiliar with how to use Mediawiki to create content, please see the Mediawiki help pages on editing for reference. Wikipedia's "how to edit a page" help documentation may also be useful to show syntax examples.
