The following is an Intellogist Help Topic The Ratings section of an Intellogist Report allows users to rate various aspects of the system in question. The purpose of the page is to inform other users of your personal experiences with the system. Please be honest and fair when rating systems. Abuse of the ratings system will be subject to Intellogist moderation as warranted. You must have confirmed your registration via e-mail and be logged in to the system in order to use the Ratings feature. The Ratings tab can be found inside of an Intellogist Report. Once inside the Ratings tab, users can rate systems by clicking on the appropriate star level; 5 being the best rating, and 1 being the worst rating. Ratings must be given in whole star increments; however, the system may display a half-start ranking after averaging all responses. If you make a mistake while entering a rating, simply refresh the page and re-enter your selections. Ratings may be changed at any time after they are entered, but each username may only enter one set of answers.

TroubleshootingIn order to stop spam bots from harming Intellogist and/or inflating the ratings, we require our users to authenticate their e-mail address before they can add information to Intellogist. This works very well for stopping spam, but users who forget to authenticate their e-mail addresses can run into problems using the site. In order to Rate a system on Intellogist, you must have authenticated your email address. Most Intellogist users have already done this as part of the registration process. However, if you did not perform this step when you first registered for Intellogist, you may have noticed that the Rating function doesn't work for you.
