Consensii LLC's free PATII℠ Patent Assignment Transfer Info Insight tool supports research on US patent assignment transfers. The PATII℠ tool provides functionality that is unavailable from the USPTO's Assignments on the Web system.

Unlike the USPTO search, the PATII'℠ tool:

• allows search by Assignor, by Assignee, or by Assignor and Assignee jointly
• provides a full complement of search results (including links to patents and patent applications) in a sortable tabular format
• offers internal hyperlinks allowing revised searches, based on the results, with a consistent and complete data format
• allows the researcher to quickly change the search role of an entity from Assignor to Assignee, and vice versa
• provides output data that is consistently formatted for reuse in database or spreadsheet applications
• offer copyable tab-delimited output that can be copied into a spreadsheets, with optional Excel-style hyperlinks
