Security
EBSCOhost offers an optional HTTPS connection, but it is not enabled by default. An administrator for the account is required to enable the option for each user. A login is required for each account, and then another My EBSCOhost login is required to use personalized features like folders and alerts. By default, EBSCOhost logs out after 15 minutes of inactivity; an administrator can change that interval to be as long as 8 hours.
