Login and Logout
Subscribers are issued a username and password for logging into EV. However, for subscribers, Engineering Village uses an IP address recognition to automatically log the user in after the initial visit.
Personal Accounts
Engineering Village utilizes a feature known as Personal Accounts in order to deliver more personalized functionality to the user. As an Engineering Village user, one has the option to register a personal account. Obtaining and using a Personal Account enables the user to save searches, save records, and create E-mail Alerts. These functions will not be available without first registering for a Personal Account.
The following information must be entered when registering for a Personal Account:
- First Name
- Last Name
- E-mail Address
- Desired Password
After the Personal Account is created, users must log into their Personal Account after having logged in to Engineering Village in order to utilize the save search, save records, and e-mail alert functions.
