Knovel is produced by the Knovel Corporation, located in New York.
Knovel was founded in 2000 as a resource to locate technical information, and has continued to grow into a leader of online technical resources for scientists and engineers. This expansion has included clients such as 75 of the Fortune 500 companies and over 300 leading technical universities worldwide.[1]
Although Knovel has only been in existence since 2000, a short period of time in the publishing world, its focus on customer satisfaction through value-added content has produced a 96% customer renewal rate2. Knovel has consistently added new content and improved their online interface. The company appears profitable through a steady stream of repeat business from large corporations and universities[2]. This leads one to believe the company is healthy and intent on growing.
