MicroPatent’s website contains instructions for creating a new account, via which the user may then order daily searching and document downloading subscriptions. The user is prompted to enter their name, address, phone number, and email address, and create a login and password. Once this is accomplished, a deposit of $50 (USD) is required. If the user’s initial document order is less than $50, this amount is retained by MicroPatent, but the remaining balance will be credited to future orders.

Multi-user subscriptions are available at the local, regional or global level for companies with users in various office locations via MicroPatent’s TOPS (Total Optimized Patent Solution) offering. TOPS is described as a bundle package with multiple tools (searching, document delivery, analysis tools) all available via a single subscription.

Per-day subscriptions are available for $95/day. The subscription is active for an entire day, even if the user goes idle or signs off the system. Many of the features included with an annual subscription are active for a per-day subscription as well, with the major exception being that per-day users cannot save WorkSheets.

The MicroPatent website indicates that volume discounts are available, and advises interested parties to contact the sales department.
