Family Search Features
In PatBase Express, the user can view all members of a patent family under the family table (which lists the country, publication number, publication date, application number, application date, and description for each family member) when viewing the bibliographic record for the result. One may also view the available PDF document for each family member in a separate viewing window by selecting the hyperlink in the publication number.
Finally, the user can view all family members (and any available full-text sections) by selecting the "Claims and Descriptions" link in the bibliographic record. The "Claims and Descriptions" view lists all family member publication numbers and any available full or non-Latin text sections (see the Viewing Full Text section of this report for more information).
However, there are no comprehensive family search features, such as the Family Explorer window available in the regular version of PatBase.
