The www.patentanalysis.com search portal has closed as of April 2010. The company is now only providing XML data from the New Zealand IPONZ collection.

New Zealand

PatentAnalysis.com has the first full text searchable database of New Zealand patents. Coverage begins in 1983 and extends through 2007. This database of approximately 135,000 documents is complete with document image thumbnails, legal status information, IPC classification code, and foreign priority data for each document. This data is sourced from the now-defunct NZPatents.com. Also included with each New Zealand result is a link to a PDF version of the document. The PatentAnalysis.com website states that they are in the process of converting the pre-1983 data and entering it into the database.

editors note iconEditor's Note:

Somewhat curiously, when a search is performed in the New Zealand collection within the "NZ Classification" field, the system seems to actually search the "Current U.S. Classification" data.
