As of January 1, 2013, both QPAT and PatentExaminer have been discontinued, and they have been replaced by the Orbit.com portal.

Austria

QPAT obtains bibliographic data, drawings, and full text data for Austria’s patent documents from the EPO as part of the Global Patent Project. The text was created by OCR technology, and may contain some misinterpreted characters or incomplete text.

The ATFULL file contains at least one full text record per patent family for the following kind codes/date ranges: full text records for Austria’s granted patents under the old law from 1902 to January 25, 2006; granted patents under the new law from October 15, 2005; and utility models from July 1994 to March 2005.

This collection is searchable by IPC, but is not searchable by ECLA classification.

These full text files do not contain updated IPC or ECLA classification data. They only contain the original IPC classification data published for the record at time of issue. Since IPC classifications are commonly revised and updated, searching by classification in these files will not be querying the most recently updated classification data. Only the bibliographic FamPat and PlusPat files contain updated classification data.

These records include titles in English and German, abstracts in English, and description and claims in German.
