United States

SureChem has full text coverage of United States (US) granted patents from January 06, 1976 onwards. This coverage is based on the electronic data collection available from the USPTO, which is common among many patent search systems

US patent applications are covered in full text from March 15, 2001 onwards. This coverage matches the available data provided from the USPTO to most patent search systems.

Additionally, SureChem has some full text coverage of US reissue patents, US design patents, US plant patents, US defensive publications, and US statutory invention registrations, covering the same time period as the granted patent data.

editors note iconEditor's Note:

SureChem's US patent data coverage is only average, and on par with most other free systems. However, the fact that this collection is tagged with chemical structure data is the extra factor that makes it especially useful.
