Introduction
In addition to its patent collections, Innovation also provides the user access to a variety of non-patent literature databases.
Depending on the user’s subscription plan, additional costs may be associated with access to non-patent literature searching.
Editor's Note:The fact that Innovation has both patent and non-patent literature sources available for searching through the same interface provides ease-of-use and convenience to searchers that many other web based patent search products systems don't offer. In addition, the ability to "Search All Content" across patent, literature, and business collections is relatively unique and represents a convenient and powerful option to patent searchers. Innovation’s "Business" collection in particular could be especially useful to those users performing patent landscape analysis and business strategy studies. Furthermore, it is advantageous that the non-patent citations on patent documents can be linked directly to the non-patent literature collections in some cases.
