Online Help Features
VantagePoint has a two main help features in the system, the Help Guide and the Analyst Guide.
Help Guide
The Help Guide is a standard help guide found in most programs, with Contents, Index, and Search tabs as means to find the specific topic of interest. Almost all functions available in VantagePoint are covered in detail, making the Help Guide the primary place to look for answers to specific, in-depth questions.
Analyst Guide
The Analyst Guide contains information on how to perform common tasks in VantagePoint. For instance, the “Demonstrations” section contains tutorial videos, which are shown in a separate browser. The videos cover step by step instructions related to each topic. An example of this is shown.
Also included in the Analyst Guide are written descriptions in areas such as the “walkthroughs” and frequently asked questions (FAQ) sections.
