Legal Status Information
WIPS uses INPADOC legal status data. The legal status is displayed where available when viewing the individual record using a color code for the various types of actions. An example is shown.

The File Contents History is provided for US patent documents based on a USPTO Link Service, and the File Contents History for Japanese patent documents is provided based on the IPDL Link Service.[1]
