Quote:Shoshiad Wed 20th 5:41 am I heard there is a tool which is being used by the European patent examiners which is used to display patent results (identified by a search carried out by the examiner)called "Patent viewer" Does anyone know anything about it? where can I find information about it?
Hi Shoshiad - Are you referring to Minesoft PatentViewer? The portal for accessing the tool still appears to be active here, but the information page on the Minesoft website about the tool (at http://www.minesoft.com/patentviewer.asp) doesn't appear to function anymore. I checked this page through the Internet Archive Wayback Machine website, and this screenshot of the site from April 2011 gives the following information about the Minesoft PatentViewer product:
Minesoft Patent Viewer is a web-based patent document management system, with a special toolset for viewing patent documents.
Using Minesoft Patent Viewer, individuals, departments or whole companies can organise their patent portfolio into Folders and Work Files easily and efficiently. The Minesoft Patent Viewer web application can be accessed by Internet or on a corporate Intranet for one all-inclusive annual fee. Unlimited documents can be studied. Developed in a web environment, this Patent Viewer can be offered to end-users. I'm not sure if Minesoft is still actively promoting and licensing this product, although the sign-in portal at least appears to be accessible. I'd contact a PatBase representative if you're interested in learning more about the product.
Let me know if that helps, thanks!
Joelle
